The Darco Body Armor Pro Term Stump orthosis is postoperatively applicable as an orthosis for conservative treatment after Chopart and Lisfranc amputations (and thus suitable for Diabetic Foot Syndrome and POAD, Peripheral Arterial Occlusive Disease). The Darco Body Armor Pro Term Stump orthosis is used as a temporary treatment to support normal blunt formation and can therefore be used for approximately 10 weeks. The wedge-shaped inner and outsole provide an increased dorsal flexion of the foot, in order to reduce forefoot pressure. The robust ankle shaft stabilizes both the talcrural and talocal cane joint. Thanks to the wide opening, the foot is easy to place in the orthosis and the simple locking system is practical and safe. The internal air bladder ensures a custom fit and the orthosis can be worn both left and right. In addition, the ventral support region provides prolonged pressure over the tibia region, which further improves the fit.
