Orthoservice Hipocross Hip Brace
Prevents excessive adduction of the hip joint and can limit flexion and extension in case of an operated hip, (chance of) hip luxation or osteoarthritis complaints. Optionally expandable with Hinge to set Range of Motion (ROM) in flexion extension direction. Gel module prevents edema formation and is easy to set up and put on thanks to Velcro closures.
Description
The lightweight Orthoservice Hipocross hip brace (without hinge) is extremely suitable for use in post-operative care and also very suitable for conservative treatment after a hip luxation or for osteoarthritis or pain of the hip.
The Orthoservice Hipocross hip brace is made of breathable AirXTM material. On the lateral and anterolateral side there are support bands for extra support, which are also equipped with Velcro® buckles at the front. The Velcro® buckles are color-coded for easy application. The elastic support bands prevent excessive adduction of the hip and can partially limit flexion and extension. The gel module prevents edema formation.
The hip brace is available for both left and right in four different sizes.
OPTIONAL: In combination with the Hinge, the number of degrees (Range Of Motion) can be set, which determines the degree of stability. The Hinge provides further increased adduction limitation and in addition, the degree of flexion (0° – 120° in steps of 10°) and extension (0° – 120° in steps of 10°) is adjustable.
