Description
Push med Ankle Brace Aequi Flex. The Push med Ankle Brace Aequi Flex is distinguished to a large extent by extra flexibility and pressure in the injury area. The brace has an enlarged flexible shell that covers the injury and thus ensures a balanced distributed pressure.
The Aequi Flex is therefore particularly well used in the treatment of acute ankle injuries. The rigid support is located only on the medial side of the ankle and has a cutout on the malleolus. The functional band can be easily adjusted, depending on the degree of swelling in the (sub-)acute phase.
In addition, pressure is provided by individually adjusting the two elastic bands around the joint. The inversion and eversion movement is adequately restricted, while there is sufficient freedom of movement for planting and dorsal flexion. As a result, the normal movement of the foot during walking is not limited. The use of flexible materials guarantees optimal fit and comfort for the user.
Indications
Treatment of acute lateral ankle ligament lesions, aftertreatment of conservatively or surgically treated ankle fractures, severe (residual) instability, osteoarthritis with instability and secondary prevention of ankle ligament injury.
