WristWidget®
The WristWidget® is designed for people with the TFCC injury and related pain. The TFCC is a cartilage-like discussion also similar to the ‘meniscus’ in the knee. The discussion forms the connection between the ulna with the spoke bone and the wrist. pain complaints on the little finger side of the wrist are often caused by damage from the TFCC injury. The pain gets worse when the hand is bent to the pinky side.
these complaints can be both gradually think of wear or overload. But it can also arise acutely then think of traumatic. The acute complaints often arise from a fall on the outstretched hand in which a large force is applied to the (over)stretched and twisted wrist. In certain sports, TFCC injuries occur regularly:
- Tennis
- Box
- Golf
- Hockey
- Gymnastics
- Fitness
- Pole jump
The development of the wrist widget has been going on for years. More than 400,000 patients worldwide have already used this surprising brace and sales continue to rise.
The wrist widget holds the wrist firmly in place without irritation to the skin or wrist joint. But also without loss of wrist function. It is made of velcro and is water resistant. Because of the Velcro it closes well around the wrist, there is no compression on the ulnahead and it sits comfortably.
