Darco Heelift Glide

Relieve the leg and slide easily over the mattress with the bedridden patient

If there is ulcers / wound formation on the leg of the patient but the patient does not walk independently and there is no support on the leg, then the Heelift Glide is extremely suitable.

Darco Heelift AFO

Relieves the leg and allows transfers in the more active patient

If there is ulcers/wound formation on the patient’s leg and the patient walks independently or is there support on the leg, then the Heelift AFO is extremely suitable.

What makes the Heelift Glide the right solution for the patient?

  1. Thanks to the durable nylon exterior of the Heelift, the leg glides easily over the sheets.
  2. The ventilation holes provide increased air circulation to increase comfort.
  3. Opening at heel suspension for a visual inspection of the heel.
  4. Friction-free Tricot support helps in patient mobility and helps ensure patient safety.
  5. The Elevation Pad lifts the leg to hang the heel, which promotes the ideal environment for the healing of ulcers.
  6. The forefoot strap holds the shoe in place and helps support the forefoot.
  7. Soft ‘Easy-On, Easy-Off’ fastening straps provide a simple solution for a tailored fit.

Lining:

There are 2 forms of foam versions available; Standard or Smooth.

  • The Standard version is suitable for non-oedemateus legs or patients who prefer a cool shoe. This version is made of high-quality soft foam and effectively reduces pressure on the heel, thus preventing wounds on the heel.
  • The Smooth version is the soft version of the above. Made of high-quality soft foam with a smooth surface, this version is ideally suited for diabetic patients.

Darco Anti-Rotation Wedge

The Darco Anti-rotation Wegde prevents rotation of the leg in lying position.

Properties:

  • Easy to lay
  • Immobilizes the leg
  • Is to build both said of the Heelift variants.
  • Prevents both endorotation and exorotation
  • Is reusable.

Suitable for:

  • Use in combination with the Heelift ® Glide
  • Use in combination with the Heelift ® AFO

Darco Elbowlift Universal

The Darco Elbowlift Universal is ideally suited to prevent ulcers, wounds or friction wounds on the elbow and to protect wounds for bedridden high-risk patients.

Distinctive:

The Darco Elbowlift prevents deterioration of the quality of the skin around the elbow joint and specifically the olecranon. The quality is improved with effective microclimate-friendly material.

Properties:

  • The exterior consists of a soft, smooth nylon coating which allows it to move comfortably over the bottom layer (sheets).
  • The inside is made of soft, smooth foam, ideal for sensitive skin.
  • Easy-On, Easy-Off
  • Both left and right
  • Wash at 60°C or make it sterile again.
