Are you ready to increase your product knowledge about mobilizing splints? We would like to share all our knowledge and expertise about this product with the practitioner. The workshop is designed for hand, physio and occupational therapists who would like to learn the basics about the neoprene.

Mobilizing splints course day is mainly practical. After a brief introduction to the students and theoretical explanations of the different types of techniques, the group of participants is divided up. The rest of the day is practiced in the manufacture of various types of splints.

In order to be able to supervise these workshops well and to keep them interactive, we are forced to maximize the number of participants to no less than 15 people.

Who is this workshop for?

The workshop is intended for advanced students who would like to learn more about mobilizing splints. In order to be able to supervise and keep these workshops interactive, the number of participants is no less than 20 people.

What a workshop day looks like?

The mobilizing splints course day is mainly practical. After a brief introduction to the students and theoretical explanations of the different types of techniques, the group of participants is divided up. The rest of the day is practiced in the manufacture of various types of splints.

During the workshop the following topics will be discussed: Purpose redressing and indication, theory and physiology behind redressing, build-up in intensity (from light to heavy redression), practical; tensing directions, pulleys and angles, types of splints and materials to be used (e.g. fishing wire or elastic, plaster), pathologies: Luxation pip/dip with flexion contracture or extension deficit, tendon injury; early active/belittling and Dupuytren.

Personal input is possible in consultation.

Are the workshops accredited?

Yes, the workshops are accredited by various institutes. Think of: KNGF, ADAP, Keurmerk and VGNED..

At the moment there is room for 16 students per day.

The workshop is intended for advanced students who would like to learn more about mobilizing splints.

A lunch will be provided at the workshop. When ordering your tickets, you can specify your dietary requirements.
