How it works?

• Ideal material for the manufacture of rigid and supportive orthotics. It is an excellent base material for all support and hand orthoses.
• The perfect balance between draping and resistance to stretch. The material holds its shape perfectly against a raised tone and easily molds to the fingers, hands and wrist with light to moderate pressure.
• The manufactured orthosis retains its shape when heated for minor adjustments. Small corrections are easy to make after point heating the orthosis with a heat gun.
• The non-stick coating prevents accidental adhesion and allows direct pouring over bandages and cotton liners in post-operative conditions. The coating provides a temporary bond during manufacture. Reliable permanent adhesion is possible after removing the coating and using dry heat. All attachments and props can be applied with maximum ease.
• Prevents cross-contamination between materials in a splint department and keeps orthoses hygienic for longer. Orthotics have a longer lifespan.

• Use the Multifit NS 3.2 mm for larger orthoses and patients who need additional support: resting hand orthosis, full-length wrist orthosis, elbow orthosis, as a basis for outrigger components and contracture management.
