Description

Orfizip is a complete immobilization system, consisting of corsets, body jackets for the whole body, wrist, wrist thumb and knee splints. Orfizip consists of thermoplastic material covered with an elastic fabric and has a zipper and it is easy to put on and take off.

How it works and looks

  • Each Pre-Cut can be used to manufacture an orthotic left or right. Ulnaire side closure. Easy to put on and take off. Aesthetically pleasing and washable.
  • Easy to apply and very precise to form according to the anatomy of the patient. Accurate laying improves the correct spread of skin pressure.
  • Minor corrections and adjustments can be made easily when needed by heating locally with a heatgun.
  • Saving time.
  • Adjustable in length.
  • More comfort and adherence for the patient.

  • Postoperative immobilisation
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Wrist sprains – joint instability

Wrist / thumb splint:

  • Scaphoid or Bennett fractures

Knee splint:
