The BioSkin AFTR DC provides support and stabilization for postoperative and conservative treatment of many foot and ankle pathologies.
Description
LIMITED MOVEMENT
The AFTR DC includes medial and lateral plastic supports and Figure 8 stirrup straps to limit movement in the ankle and hindfoot. Made from the Bio Skin material and molds to the anatomy of the foot during normal volume changes after injuries and surgery. The materials are noticeably comfortable and are hypoallergenic, breathable and thin.

- Total ankle prosthesis

- Removal of bunion
- Post-OK forefoot
- Arthritis hindfoot
REPAIR
Use the Weil Osteotomy belt to recover from foot and toe surgery. The strap holds the toe in a neutral or plantar bent position to promote proper healing. The belt is compatible with the CMC Wrap and the AFTR products which all exert compression on the foot to improve recovery and relieve pain.
PREVENT
Dorsal toe, floating toe and a hammer toe can all be prevented with the Weil osteotomy band. The belt keeps the toe in a neutral or plantar bent position to promote proper bone alignment. Wear the strap during the day to prevent the toe from coming out of the right position. The strap is detachable for a personal fit and can be easily worn with any type of shoe.
